I undertook a project user experience design project and then a project manager role for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in developing their Growing Inclusive Markets Web site. I first developed the HTML wireframes and wrote technical specs to be used for building the full database-driven site. I then managed the project development and launch for this Joomla-driven, multilingual site.

As a contributing editor at Baseline, I researched and designed technical infographics for the print magazine. For the publication's Web site, I built Javascript-based interactive tools and redesigned the site's information architecture.

Wall Street Content Always glad for a chance to put my Japanese into practice, I used Adobe Illustrator to lay out a Japanese translation of a corporate comic book for Wall Street Content on behalf of the end client, SunGard. I also designed and laid out a 256-page directory of financial exchanges around the world for SunGard, and have designed a variety of print- and Web-based marketing pieces for Wall Street Content and its clients.

The Podcast of Clinical Neurology News and a second medical news podcast, I streamlined the team's editorial production and publication process with a single WordPress blog. I implemented plug-ins, provided extensive training and explanation of site statistics, and helped this novel podcasting organization get work much more efficiently.

PAERS Ltd. For this engagement, I created multilingual, graphical buttons for a kiosk interface. I created 51 buttons for each of 13 languages: Arabic, Iraqi, Italian, Kurdish, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Tamil, Thai, and Urdu.

I developed design templates, conducted a content audent, and produced training documentation and a communications plan.

PerkinElmer Biotechnology company PerkinElmer sought to migrate the user interface for one of its gas chromotography instruments from a keypad to a touch screen. I designed a series of related icons, produced graphic design prototypes for all screens, and developed all digital images for the touch screen. For several years I have continued to provide icon design work on an ongoing basis for new gas chromatograph interface updates for its Chromera software.

For Polaris Management Partners, a management consulting firm for the pharmaceutical industry, I redesigned their Web presence in an extremely short timeframe. I created new graphics based on PowerPoint charts, developed comprehensive stylesheets, and included a DTHML navigational structure for their clients engagement page.
